Coaching & Assessment

I serve clients in and outside of organizational settings through a holistic approach to coaching, assessment, and development. Coaching supports clients to develop integrated, self-generating capabilities to approach their specific development areas of focus. I work with clients to co-create a development plan and use assessments, personalized exercises, self-awareness practices, and other tools to support the ongoing developmental process.

Coaching processes often begin with engaging one of several assessment tools (Hogan, Enneagram, CliftonStregnths, MBTI) and mapping the unique complexities of client contexts, and working to identify core values, purpose, and developmental direction. From there, we create an individualized development plan over a specified framework of time with clear goals and milestones as well as accountability structures.

Ongoing coaching work ranges in timespan and evolves with client goals, focus areas, and emerging factors in client lives. Coaching work is informed by a whole-person, integral philosophy to development and often incorporates somatic and mindfulness components. Within organizations, coaching often occurs as a component of wider-scale team and organizational leadership development programs and services. I have additional background in chaplaincy (grief support) and equine assisted coaching, and utilize these tools when applicable with clients.

“My group and I had a great learning experience with Bridgit. We are a group that is developing learning practices for people in performance fields such as leadership, education, family dynamics, community mobilization, social justice, and healthy organizations. The experience with the horses was an extraordinary learning lab to see how to include the body in learning, face challenges, and progress in confidence in a new, challenging situations.”
-Bob Dunham, Founder, Institute for Generative Leadership

“My team and I gained powerful tools to apply personally and as a group around effective leadership. The exercises with the horses were a great mix of fun and deep individual and group learning, with practical takeaways and applications for how to navigate interpersonal dynamics and strategic objectives effectively. This was the best part of our 2 day offsite! For teams looking for bonding, introspection, and team metaphors, I recommend Bridgit wholeheartedly.”
-Amanda West, Director, People Operations at Google

“Truly and deeply magical and empowering. The retreat itself was only a day, but here I am nearly a month later still continuing to grow and process all that I learned about myself and communicating with others from an open, authentic and safe space.”

Our group worked on harnessing energy and presence through leadership exercises and powerful interpersonal exercises with other group members. I was able to understand and practice how to shift my energy and to be a better, more congruent collaborator with those around me at home and at work. I highly recommend to individuals and teams. ”
-Fernanda Montoya, Accountant, Boulder Heavy Industries

“The half day with fellow IGL colleagues generated rich conversations about how our awareness of ourselves in relationship with our team members, made visible in our conditioned tendencies. Bridgit negotiated the space to allow this to show up so elegantly. A key practice for our team was that nervousness, anxiety, fear, or uncertainty are normal and ok, and that there are skillful ways to embrace being settled amidst the unsettledness that shows up.”
-Andrea Bordenca, CEO IGL US

“Bridgit and the horses uniquely show us sides of our behaviors that are often hidden from our own view. Little, if anything, is hidden from the horse and Bridgit is a great intermediary, putting into language possibilities to shift (e.g. unease, being inauthentic, fear) and other behaviors and emotional states that in other contaexts limit our freedom and fulfillment. Go for it, especially if you have any sense at all that this adventurous form of learning will serve you in your life.”
-Jeremy Nash, Leadership Consultant

“I have been with our time together all day- resonating with tracking where I have arrived and opening to the feel of new possibilities. The gift the horses bring to me is that immediate feedback of where I am - when I am deeply connected and when I am not connected. What an amazing space you hold, Bridgit - not only do you tend the space for humans, you also tend to the complexity for what is going on with the horses, and when we meld, the whole. ”
-Elizabeth Rohr, Constellations Facilitator, Special Education Teacher

“The discovery experience offered an amazing opportunity for us to learn about ourselves in relationship to each other and the horses. We were challenged to be far more aware of our body language and places of congruence and incongruence in ourselves...habits internally and externally that are so habitual and yet, as we saw time and time again, don’t always have good impacts in our lives and relationships. The horses were patient and gentle teachers as we worked through exercises and it was so fun to feel them open up to us in a way we had no idea horses could. Highly recommend.”
-The Marquez Family

“The echoes of our time with the horses is still reverberating with me and your gentle yet clear and firm guidance was exceptional in helping me push my edges with the horses. I discovered insights about my leadership that would have taken months if not longer to realize in just moments interacting with those horses. The way you lightly pointed at the dynamics you were seeing between them and I provided immediate, powerful, nuanced and gentle biofeedback on how I show up in the world with others and how I hold and wield my power. Excellent!”
-Adam Hopey, Therapist and Trainer
