Equine Facilitated Coaching

Equine Integrated Coaching offers powerful insights about your relationship with yourself, others, and life as a whole. The results are cognitive, emotional, and physical breakthroughs with sustained embodied impacts. Explore self-inquiry, deep listening, boundaries, collaborative leadership, non-predatory uses of power, and more.

Our approach uses various forms of groundwork exercises that unite horse and human in a co-learning process that reveals the way participants relate to themselves and others and offers a practice ground for embodied growth.

Equine Facilitated Leadership Development 

We custom curate leadership development sessions for organizational teams looking to work together to develop new behaviors and a shared language that enable them to strengthen performance, achieve goals, and create their desired organizational culture. Together, you accomplish tasks that require communication, cooperation, and the ability to draw on all of your team members' resources. The result is more flexible teams that embrace and respond to new and unpredictable challenges with greater ease.

Individual team members develop their emotional intelligence, decision-making skills, and other leadership capacities. They also learn to magnify presence, impact, and influence as well as will identify blind spots and obstacles to powerful leadership. Immediate and actionable feedback facilitates the integration of new leadership styles and behaviors in real-time.

Programs are customized to the specific needs of your team and often involve repeated team sessions along with integration coaching outside of the arena.

EquusLibere Discovery Experience

EquusLibere Discovery Experiences are custom-designed experiential processes for individuals, families, and groups looking to merge equine-guided personal and leadership development with other modes of inquiry and expression including mindfulness practices, movement, and the creative arts.
Experiences are designed to be joyful, insightful opportunities to discover equine-facilitated learning and deepen how participants relate to themselves, others, and horses. Each session is uniquely created around topics meaningful to participants and desired areas of exploration with the horses. Appropriate for all ages 6+.

(1.5-4 Hour Experience)

Discovery Experiences typically involve:

  • Meditation and movement as a mode for deepened presence

  • Inquiry into central reflective questions and opportunities for individual and group exploration and feedback

  • Experiential exercises grounded in natural horsemanship techniques exploring presence, relationship, connection, safety, intuition, energetic impact, and individual and collective dynamics

  • Various reflective processes that often include creative expression with a variety of artistic mediums

Equuslibere Circles

Deeper levels of self-inquiry and sustained transformation are made possible when embedded in supportive community. Drawing upon the collective wisdom of the herd and the group members, EquusLibere Circles enable local community members and communities of practice to deepen their self-inquiry journeys and step into greater presence, connection, and alignment.

Circles are often themed around particular topics and co-created by participant desires and themes that are uniquely present within each group session. Example topics are presence, boundaries, seasonal intentions, navigating transition, and integration of masculine and feminine ways of leading and being.

(2-3 Hour Experience)

Circles involve…

  • Individual and collective intention setting and establishing a safe container

  • Meditation and movement as a mode for deepened presence and listening

  • Inquiry into central reflective questions and opportunities for individual and group exploration with the herd

  • Opportunities for connection, support, and feedback with other group members

  • Experiential exercises exploring presence, relationship, connection, safety, intuition, energetic impact

  • Various reflective processes that often include creative expression with a variety of artistic mediums

EquusLibere Custom Workshops and Retreats

EquusLibere custom curates transformative equine facilitated learning workshops and retreats around individual, group, and organizational needs and objectives. Half-day, day-long, and multi-day programs are available and are often followed by several months of coaching to support integration and achievement of desired outcomes. Equine Facilitated learning is often built into coaching and consulting initiatives outside of the arena in order to support wider organizational change processes.

For all EquusLibere programs, no horse experience is necessary and no riding is involved.
